- BENTLEY ZUG MARKS DECADE-LONG PARTNERSHIP WITH BRITISH MARQUE
- SWITZERLAND REPRESENTS A KEY MARKET FOR THE BRAND WITH FIVE RETAIL PARTNERS
- CELEBRATION FOLLOWS BENTLEY MOTORS’ STRONG HALF-YEAR FINANCIAL RESULTS
(Munich, 29 September 2023).- Bentley Zug is celebrating a decade-long partnership with Bentley Motors. Over the last ten years, interest in the brand has grown strongly in Switzerland and Bentley Zug is looking forward to praise this occasion with owners and Bentley enthusiasts in its state-of-the-art showroom and workshop on Alte Steinhauserstrasse 1a.
Bentley has recently expanded its network to five retail partners in Switzerland, which is a key market for the brand. The Bentley Zug anniversary comes at an important moment in Bentley’s history, as the company continues to roll out its industry-leading Beyond100 strategy to be end-to-end carbon neutral by 2030.
As Bentley looks towards an electrified future in Switzerland and beyond, the brand continues to take important steps to support its sustainability objectives. It recently installed a 1200-litre biofuel bowser at the Crewe factory where all Bentley models are built. Work is also underway on the next generation of solar panels at the UK headquarters, taking the number of panels to 36,418, equal to nine football pitches.
The Bentley Zug celebration coincides with the luxury British marque recently posting strong half-year financial results. It returned an operating profit of €390 million – the second highest performance on record – and generated revenue reaching €1.681 billion, helped by the continued success of Mulliner personalisation.
Anto Kaurinovic, General Manager, Bentley Zug, said:
“Our long and successful partnership with Bentley Motors is underpinned by the most sought-after luxury car range in the world, from the best-selling Continental GT and Bentayga luxury SUV to the latest Flying Spur sedan. As we enter our second decade, we look forward to welcoming even more customers and enthusiasts to experience what Bentley has to offer at our Bentley Zug showroom.”
Balazs Rooz, Regional Director of Bentley Motors Europe, added:
“The 10th anniversary of Bentley Zug represents an important moment for Bentley Motors in Switzerland, alongside the celebration of the 20th Year anniversary of the GT Continental and the end of production of the iconic W12 engine. These are major milestones, which are in line with the Beyond100 strategy and objective to develop an electrified range by 2024, next year.”
Bentley Motors is represented in Switzerland by Bentley Basel, Bentley Genève, Bentley Lugano, Bentley Zug and Bentley Zurich.
Bentley Zug has been operated by AMAG AG since 2013.
