132 June 2013, Stuttgart/Mississauga.-The supra-regional management reshuffle goes on: Alexander Pollich (46), currently Vice President Sales Network Management and Development of Porsche AG, will take over responsibility as President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Canada Ltd., Mississauga/OT, on September 1st, 2013. He will follow Joe Lawrence, who will become Chief Operating Officer of Porsche Cars North Americain Atlanta (GA/USA) at the same point in time as already reported.
Bernhard Maier, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, comments on Mr. Pollich’s advancement: “We need executive man-ager that combine strategic and operational expertise to successfully implement our Strategy 2018. International management experience is a key requirement in today’s globalized world.”
Porsche Cars Canada was formed in April 2008 as a standalone company and employs a team of 24 in sales, aftersales, finance, and marketing. In 2012, Porsche sold more than 3,000 new cars in Canada.
New VP for Sales Network Management and Development worldwide
At the beginning of September, Barbara Vollert (50) will become Vice President Sales Network Management and Development of Porsche AG in Stuttgart. In 2001, she has joined the Brand in the quality department for methods and processes before she has taken over responsibility of the sales network qualification as Director. Ms. Vollert reports directly to Mr. Maier.
He underlines: “Barbara Vollert has a proven track record of long lasting and international management experience.”
