ANDREW ROBERTS WILL BECOME DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS, EFFECTIVE 5 JANUARY 2015

(Crewe, 16 December 2014).- Bentley Motors has today announced that Andrew Roberts will become Director of Communications, effective 5 January 2015. He will succeed Wolfgang Glabus, who will take up the position as Head of Industrial and Environmental Policy at the Volkswagen Group Representation in Berlin.

Andrew Roberts will report directly to Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman & CEO, Bentley Motors Limited. Mr Dürheimer commented: “I am delighted to welcome Andrew Roberts into the Bentley leadership team as Director of Communications. Bentley is entering a key period of product launch and I am very confident Andrew will lead our Communications team with the necessary experience and drive to deliver our goals.” Mr Dürheimer added:  “I would also like to thank Wolfgang Glabus for his contribution over the last couple of years which have brought record results for Bentley Motors and wish him continued success in his new role.”

Andrew Roberts (44) joined Bentley as Head of Brand Communications from Mercedes-Benz (UK) Limited in 2012, where he held the position of Communications Director. Before this, he held a number of senior communications roles at Land Rover spanning nine years.  He lives with his family in Cheshire.
