VEZZONI AND NELSON GO HEAD-TO-HEAD

Scarperia, 5 November. – The two categories of the Ferrari Challenge Europe Trofeo Pirelli are in diametrically opposite situations heading into the last two races of the season at Mugello during the Finali Mondiali. Indeed, the Trofeo Pirelli has already been decided while the Trofeo Pirelli Am is wide open.

Sole aim for Grossmann. Bjorn Grossmann (Octane 126) arrives at Mugello with a certain serenity after having wrapped things up in the penultimate round in Valencia. The winner of the Trofeo Pirelli got the better of his main rival, Italy’s Matteo “Babalus” Santoponte (Scuderia Autoropa), and can now simply concentrate on Sunday when the world championship title will be awarded.

Wide open. It’s another situation entirely in the Trofeo Pirelli Am, where Sweden’s Martin Nelson (Scuderia Autoropa) tops the standings two points ahead of Italy’s Alessandro Vezzoni (Rossocorsa Pellin-Racing), with the Mugello race set to decide a tussle that has been going on since the start of the season. This video shows the most exciting moments of the Valencia race.
