Málaga 7th of March 2015.- The Automobile Museum of Málaga following its permanent intention of promoting culture in the city of Málaga will receive the members of the Peña Andaluza de Locos por el Mini.

From 11:00h to 13:00h of Sunday 8th of March, around 15 Mini vehicles will welcome all visitors at the Gardens of Tabacalera while the members of the association visit the MAM’s collection. The “Peña Andaluza de Locos por el Mini” has its origins in the passion that a group of friends from different points in Andalucia feel about this small classic English car – a motor passion that they will have the chance to share with the almost one hundred cars in the Museum.

Among the models that will attend the meeting, it will be possible to see a chocolate  Mini Cabrio 1300 that has won several events as the most beautiful Mini, also several models od Mini 40th Anniversary a limited edition that was made just to commemorate the 40th years of the car and an original Minivan used for commercial purposes and with only two seats.

Just like every Sunday at 12:30h, “1, 2, 3, Let’s Get Started!” will give the chance to see some of the engines started. Cadillac Pink, Aston Martin DB4 o Lancia Dilambda among other exclusive cars of the collection will surprise visitors.

A unique and original day to celebrate International Women’s Day with family or friends surrounded by an exhibition of automotive culture, Haute Couture and design that is actually presenting new pieces such as “Blood on the road” Tribute to the great race pilots from the 50’s, Renault AX (1911) a coupé de ville (right photograph) similar to the one that starred the most romantic scene at movie “Titanic” or the “Massacre of the Innocents.” A representation of the absolute thoughtlessness that existed until the middle of last century when women from the best “society” did not find any problem in wearing dresses made of noble animals such as tigers or leopards remaining indifferent to their suffering.
