WITH TOP RATINGS, PORSCHE GOES UP IN THE ADAC AUTOMARXX INDEX

31 May 2013, Stuttgart.-  Porsche has gone up four places in the latest German market index “ADAC AutoMarxX” and ranks sixth now. So the sports car manufacturer remains the best-rated vehicle supplier in exclusive, limited volumes. Rising from 10th to 6th place in the overall ranking is chiefly ascribable to the significant improvement in the sub-categories of brand image, market strength and customer satisfaction. With regard to the brand image, product strength/vehicle quality and customer satisfaction, Porsche is among the top 3. In the overall evaluation of major surveys by Dekra, GTÜ and TÜV, Porsche is far and away the best: the sports cars from Zuffenhausen and Leipzig received the top grade of 1.0 from all three providers.

In the AutoMarxX Index, the ADAC evaluates twice a year the reputation and market strength of all vehicle manufacturers relevant for Germany. It is made up of the individual criteria of brand image, market strength, customer satisfaction, product strength/vehicle quality, environmental behaviour and level of safety, providing an overall picture of the current performance level of 33 automobile brands. In the process, individual studies (among them, a customer satisfaction survey, reports from major investigations and statistics on car breakdowns) are consolidated into the individual criteria and entered into the overall index with different weightings.
