KIMI RÄIKKÖNEN VISIT  THE LOTUS’S HETHEL HEADQUARTERS.

ICEMAN KIMI RÄIKKÖNEN DELIGHTS LOTUS STAFF WITH HIS TRACK ANTICS AND GIVES HIS THUMBS UP TO THE NEW EXIGE S ROADSTER

27 June 2013.- Former F1™ World Champion delighted Lotus staff today with an impromptu visit to the company’s Hethel Headquarters to drive the new Exige S Roadster ahead of this weekend’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Kimi gave the new Exige S Roadster the thumbs up before going onto drive the thrilling Evora S Sports Racer as well as the rest of the Exige range – the Exige S coupe and Lotus’ track monster the Exige Cup R.

He then went onto meet and greet members of staff and sign autographs.

In speaking of his visit he said:

“Great to be at Lotus, the staff have made me feel really welcome. The Exige S Roadster is a quick, agile little sportscar and looks really cool.”

Lotus Chief Operating Officer, Aslam Farikullah commented “We are very grateful to Kimi to take time out of his busy schedule in the run up to the British Grand Prix to come and enjoy our great cars and meet the staff. I hope his visit here will inspire him and the team to great success over the weekend.”

Fuel consumption for Exige S is – urban 19.5 mpg – 14.5 litres / 100km, extra urban 37.2 mpg – 7.6 litres /100km, combined – 28.0 mpg – 10.1 litres / 100km. CO2 emissions 236 g CO2 / km.
