With the temperature at the track heating up, racers took full advantage of available traction and went all out, delighting crowds of spectators in attendance at the third stop of this season’s thrilling Asia series. This year marks the first time the series has visited the Kingdom of Thailand, but judging by the reception from guest and fans, likely will not be the last.
Thailand has a vibrant and growing motorsports culture, which will only strengthen with the development of the new circuit in Buriram. Lamborghini is deeply committed to raising the profile of motorsports in the region and creating exclusive opportunities for new drivers to get involved with the sport. 2016 sees the introduction of a new driver class to the series, the Lamborghini Cup Class, intended for gentleman drivers and rookies to compete together on a level and measure their progress from beginner to amateur level and beyond in GT racecars.
