October 12, 2016.– On October 8th, Ferrari successfully completed Pilota Ferrari Around the World Korea, a driving course available exclusively for Ferrari owners.
Pilota Ferrari Around the World Korea, which was held for the second time this year, is Ferrari’s representative track event highlighting the racing DNA of the brand and guided by professional Pilota instructors authorized by Ferrari.
It consists of an overall driving instruction including a theory course on Ferrari cars and real track driving as well. It is held to give participants a comprehensive understanding of their Ferrari and feel the pleasure and thrill of driving their Ferrari to the fullest potential, so they become interested in motorsports and start on their journey of acquiring driving skills similar to that of race drivers.
The event held at the Speedway in Yong-in received an overwhelming response with 50 customers taking part in the event with their own Ferrari and getting personalized instructions according to their models.
FMK, the official importer of Ferrari in Korea, has announced that it would donate all participants’ fees to Holt Children’s Services Organization, including donations from the company as well.
“I was very pleased with the very positive response from our customers during last year’s debut event and their high interest in motorsports,” Mr. Kim Gwang Cheol, the CEO of FMK said, “we have decided to hold the event once again in order to provide Korean customers with a special opportunity to hone their driving skills. Also, we will do our best to make this event a regular one.”
