ROLLS-ROYCE MOTOR CARS CELEBRATED A SUCCESSFUL GOODWOOD REVIVAL WITH A SIGNIFICANT PRESENCE THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND

11.9.2017.- This year, the renamed ‘Gordon Galleries’ recaptured the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the marque’s glamorous premises in London’s West End during the 1950s with a stunning 1956 Silver Wraith Extended Wheelbase taking centre place. Finished in black over red with a body by Freestone & Webb, the car was first presented at the 1956 British International Motor Show at Earl’s Court, London.

Rolls-Royce was also represented on the legendary motor circuit itself with a handsome 1966 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Touring Limousine (PV 23 design). Finished in ivory over black with body by coachbuilder James Young, the car formed part of the Course Director’s entourage and conveyed invited guests in period luxury throughout the weekend.
