Málaga May 26th, 2013. The Automobile Museum of Málaga hosted the First Expo Tuning, a meeting for lovers of Tuning and new experiences. Numerous customized vehicles participated on this special day coming from all ANDALUSIA in order to offer an unique spectacle.

Around 400 visitors did not want to miss cars as curious as “The Beast” – a Rolls Royce Special which is part of The Guinness Book of Records as the most powerful car of the world; the “puzzle car”- a Renault Megane; a Chrysler Sebring with its powerful sound equipment run by Manuel Mérida, ex member of the crew of MTV Tuning Spain.

An incredible Seat Córdoba was the vehicle that took First Place in the category Tuning, awarded with a trophy and a cash prize. The attendees were those who participated directly, through their votes, in the election of the trophy winners in various categories such as:

  • Best Porter Seat Córdoba handed Enrique Sánchez “grafiti”.
  • Best Classic Chevrolet Camaro SS handed Mar González.
  • Farthest Car Volkswagen Golf 3 handed Ulises “Soud Distro BMX”.
  • Club with more participants Talleres Aeromagic handed Mar González.
  • Most elegant Car Volkswagen Passat handed Ulises “Soud Distro BMX”.
  • Most spectacular rim Renault Megane handed Enrique Sánchez “grafiti”.
  • Top 2 Models Porsche Panamera handed Oscar Guerrero, Director GoRacing.
  • Top Motorcycles Royal Enfield handed Baron, President Coyotes Málaga.
  • Top Interior Seat Córdoba handed José Miguel Cisneros, Responsible Organization ExpoTuning.
  • Top Exterior Seat Córdoba handed Ricardo Serbén, Technical Director of Museum.
  • Top Tuning Seat Córdoba handed Patricia Rueda, Sales Director of Museum.

Also had much success the exposition of Harley, provided by the Club Coyotes Málaga, with models like Heritage of the 110th anniversary of Harley, an Ultra Classic or the Fat Boy Special, or those belonging to the make Royal Enfield presented by Málaga automotive company GoRacing. Among BMX exhibitions, live graffiti, airbrushing, visits to the Museum and many stands, visitors witnessed the unveiling of a new sculpture, “The Sacred Skull” which decorate the space dedicated to the permanent theme of Tuning World at the Automobile Museum. The presentation was attended by the Councillor of Environment and councilman of District 7  D. Raúl Jiménez as well as by the Director of mentioned District D. Pedro Cabrera. A work of art made of 27 motorcycle golden helmets with dimension 1.85 x 1.50, which joined together to flesh out a spectacular giant skull.

In addition, the event featured a solidarity action in collaboration with Bancosol. “Operation Kilo Tuning”, has collected a large number of different kinds of products donated by participants and visitors who have contributed to this initiative so necessary in these times of crisis.
