Damian Caneda, Councillor for Culture, Tourism and Sports has given the details of the event with Patricia Rueda, director commercial Automobile Museum and the various contributors.

THE EXPO TUNING EVENT WILL FEATURE AWARD-WINNING VEHICLES AT NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL WITH ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES

Malaga May 26, 2013. Todaoy will take place at the Automobile Museum of Málaga its First Expo Tuning, a meeting that aims to make Automobile Museum an annual meeting point for lovers of Tuning and new experiences. Damian Caneda, Councillor for Culture, Tourism, Sport and Education has the details of the event this morning at a press conference with Patricia Rueda, commercial director Automobile Museum, Jose Miguel Cisneros, Expo Tuning´s organizer. They also attended various contributors as José Ferrer, CEO of Copicentro, Maria Herrera, commercial director of Catering Tito Clemente, and BMX Group manager, Fernando Laszcko. Other local businesses like EMT, Los Mellizos Restaurants and Clinics Rincón also wanted to contribute to this event, which also will be solely related to Tuning to be held in the month of May in Andalusia.

First Tuning Expo will feature award-winning vehicles nationally and internationally as:

  • “The Beast” 1972: A Rolls Royce aircraft engine Special with Rolls Royce Merlin Spitfire – 1942. In 1977 this car entered the Guinness Book of Records as The Most Powerful Car World.
  • Ford Focus: Ranked # 20 in France from 3000 participants in 2012.
  • Seat Leon: cover in April 2010 of Maxi Tuning Magazine. For 2 years in a row among the top 15 in Braga (Portugal) in the biggest event in Europe with about 3700 participants. In 2012 the top 20 in France.
  • Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III 1965.

And an exhibition of motorcycles of the club Malaga Coyotes important models such as:

  • Heritage of the 110 anniversary of Harley.
  • Harley Ultra Classic.
  • Fat Boy Specia.
  • And both bikes Royal Enfield brand with over 100 years of history to be presented by Go Racing Automotive Málaga company directed by Oscar Guerrero.

From 10 to 18 hours we will have different activities for all ages as visits to the Automobile Museum, exhibition of cars, bikes and models Tuning; exhibition Malakafornia BMX Crew, considered one of the most influential groups in Spain as bikers, graffiti and the opening of the impressive facility called “The Holy Skull” made with about 27 motorcycle helmets with dimension 1.85 x 1.50. In addition, the event will feature a solidarity action. With the support of Bancosol be conducted “Operation Kilo Tuning”, in which participants and visitors will be able to collaborate by providing nonperishable food. At present, such initiatives are very necessary that is why the Museum wishes to contribute by joining a day of fun, culture and solidarity.

The entrance for visitors and the general public will be 4.50 euros, equivalent to the reduced entry price to the Automobile Museum. The cost for each enrolled will be:

Registration

  • Cars: 18 euros. Includes event registration, 1 lunch and 1 drink for the enrollee, entrance to the museum’s collection for the enrollee and his companion.
  • Motorcycle: 12 euros. Registration to the event, 1 lunch and 1 drink for the enrollee, entrance to the museum’s collection for the enrollee and his companion.
  • Models: 5 euros. Registration to the event, 1 drink, entrance to the museum’s collection.
