21/06/2012.- ROLLS-ROYCE MOTOR CARS HAS ANNOUNCED THAT GEOFFREY BRISCOE HAS JOINED THE COMPANY AS REGIONAL DIRECTOR, MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA AND LATIN AMERICA. In his previous role he was president for bmw group in malaysia.

Geoff has extensive experience of BMW Group and has been involved in both retail and wholesale for over 25 years. He has worked with several premium brands and also owned motor vehicle dealerships. Prior to his last position, Briscoe was Sales Director for BMW Group Australia, where he was tasked with leading various departments including sales operations, dealer development, product planning and retail operations. Geoff replaces James Crichton, who has been appointed as Regional Director, Europe.

“I am delighted to welcome Geoff to Rolls-Royce and to his new position heading the regional office for the Middle East, Africa and Latin America,” said Jolyon Nash, Director, Sales and Marketing. “With his extensive experience, I am confident that he is ideally suited to further develop on the impressive results that have been achieved by James Crichton over the past two years.”

Last year the Middle East region played an important role in securing the company’s most successful year since it was founded 108 years ago. Three out of the top ten selling dealers were from the region and Bespoke enjoys the highest revenue per vehicle globally. This success was driven by demand for the Phantom Series I in its final year and the launch of the new Ghost Extended Wheelbase. Sales in the first three months of 2012 recorded a 30% growth over the same period of the 2011 record year.
