VICENTE ADRIÁN LEAVES COMPANY AFTER TWO SUCCESSFUL YEARS
Martorell, 29.05.2012. – SEAT Vice-president for Sales and Marketing and Executive Committee member Paul Sevin will head SEAT Spain from June 1st onwards. Sevin replaces current head Vicente Adrián who has decided to leave the company to pursue new business interests.
Since Vicente Adrian’s arrival at SEAT in May 2010, the Spanish brand has been Spain’s best-selling brand in for two consecutive years, something that had not been seen since 1979.
On behalf of SEAT’s Executive Committee, Sevin has acknowledged Adrian’s work during his time as head of the brand in Spain and wishes him the best of success in the future.
Paul Sevin came to SEAT two years ago as head of Sales and Marketing, being appointed Vice-president one year later. During his time with the company, SEAT sales have grown world-wide, in spite of a difficult economic environment; he has also overseen launches of the new Alhambra, Mii and Ibiza as well as the company’s opening up of new markets such as China.
