Maria viajó en un avión médico desde Cambridge a Torrejón para ser ingresada en un hospital madrileño donde se está dando continuidad a los cuidados necesarios para su recuperación.
Este traslado es el mejor reflejo de la mejoría de la madrileña. «Estamos muy felices de estar de vuelta en Madrid, aunque nos sentimos muy afortunados y agradecidos del trato y del equipo médico que ha cuidado de Maria en Cambridge», comentó su padre. «Maria mejora cada minuto y esperamos que, si todo va igual de bien, pueda irse en la próximas semanas a casa», continuó.
Aunque María no puede recibir visitas, ha querido mediante esta nota anticiparse y dar la gracias a todo el mundo por toda la fuerza, apoyo y cariño que ha recibido y está recibiendo.

While María still cannot receive visits, she wants to thank dearly everybody who sent so many messages of strength, love and support since her accident, through this handwritten note.
