21 JULY 2012.- YESTERDAY, MARÍA DE VILLOTA WAS FLOWN BACK HOME TO SPAIN AFTER 17 DAYS AT ADDEMBROOK’SHOSPITAL.
The medical plane flew from Cambridge to Torrejon, and María was admitted at a Madrid hospital where she is recivig the cares needed for her recovery.
Being able to travel back home is the best indicator the improvement in María’s conditions.»We are very happy to be back in Madrid, and we feel very fortunate and grateful for theoutstanding treatments and care that María received from the medical team in Cambridge,» said his father Emilio. «Maria is improving every minute and we hope that she’ll be back home in the next few weeks» he added.
While María still cannot receive visits, she wants to thank dearly everybody who sent so many messages of strength, love and support since her accident, through this handwritten note.
